Wednesday of last week was en
eventful day in the lives of two ol
our popular citizens, Mr. Win. Mus-
tard and: Miss E. Tippeo who upon,
that date joined hands and hearts
in the bonds of holy matrimony, the
Rev. E. C. Jennings officiating. The.
wedding was solemnized at the residen-
ce of the bride's parents, Mr. and
Mrs'. J. W. Tippett at 8 p, na, iU
the -premnee of a large number of
guests. At the appointed hour the
guests entered the room which was •
decorated with evergreens and flowers.
The young couple stood under an arch
of green and nipple leaves while be-
hind a huge bank of ferns adorned
the wall, presenting a very pyetty
feet when contrasted with the white
and myrtle entwined. The bride look-
ed charming in a gown of lawn and
chiffon trinnuings. She carried a bo-
quet of roses and was given away ;by
her father. The wedding march as
played by Dr. Smith. After the cere-
mony and congratulations being given •
the company sat down to a. surnP-
tuotis repast to which all did ample
justice. The happy couple- left on the
early train on a trip to Marine:
City, Mich.., a.nd other points, intend-
ing to returlt in e, couple of weeks
and take up housekeeping itt Bayfield.
They left amid a shower of good wish-
es and a liberal supply of rice and
carry with them the good wishes 'of
