went to the Paeifie Coast ill 1872
where "Butcher" Jones some time
since joined' the great majority; His
eon, is proprietor of the Domin-
ion Hotel itt .Victoria and is now
making ti twoentontbs' pleasure trip'
during which he will visit the East-
ern and Sonthern States. As Mr.
Jones was only three years of age
when the family went West it is
not necessary to say that he didn't
continent on the absence of any of
the old land marks.
