Once all members had arrived, President Sarah opened the meeting with the pledge and roll call which was, "What is your favourite activity or sport? When or how often do you do it?" Most members answered that they liked to swim or play hockey. After roll call, members warmed up with some stretches, simple line dance moves and then the "Macarena." Being all warmed up, members quickly set up to start learning line dances. The first dance was to "Life is a Highway" by Tom Cochrane. Members quickly caught on and so the club moved on to a harder dance, "Up All Night" by Jon Pardi. After some meticulous practice, the members performed the dance and then took a break. During the break, members rehydrated and read about how everyone is different and how to make simple changes to improve their health. Members also had to share with the club what their plan was to get moving, ranging from joining various teams or simply playing outside. The club then brainstormed some ideas for a club name and decided on "Wawanosh Today" as their name. Refueled and ready to go, the members went back and learned the dance to "Got a Feeling" by Tim Hicks. After completing that dance, they went back and completed the other two as well. Members then sat down to enjoy a snack while the leaders talked about what to expect for the next meeting.
