STEPHENSON. On December 15,
2018 one of the worst nightmares the
Stephenson family could imagine
came true. David Stephenson of
Brussels, was in a work accident and
hurt severely. Huron Emergency
Medical Services, Brussels Fire
Department and co-workers at
McDonald Home Building Centre
reacted with professionalism and
accuracy. Due to this, David
received the proper medical
attention in a timely manner,
allowing him to be rushed to
Kitchener Grand River Hospital,
then to Hamilton General where he
stayed until his injuries were stable.
He was then sent to Seaforth
Hospital, where he was monitored
until released. The specialists,
practitioners and nurses were
amazing during his stay at all
hospitals, but David is extremely
happy to be home. We could not
thank friends, family and the
community enough for their
generosity during and after David's
accident. We are forever grateful for
the phone calls, personal visits, and
gifts. Watching people come
together during a time of distress is
overwhelming and makes this
difficult situation easier for all of us.
Doc and Annette, along with their
family, would like to say thank you
for all your acts of kindness as they
will forever be remembered and in
their hearts. 12-1p
WHEELER. I want to thank

my surgery. Also I want to thank all
those who brought food, flowers and
gifts to the house. Everything was
greatly appreciated. These are the
times that remind you what it means
to live in a small town. – Darlene

Life Well Lived
A life well lived is a precious gift,
Of hope and strength and grace,
From someone who has made our
world,
A brighter, better place.
It's filled with moments sweet and
sad,
With smiles and sometimes tears,
With friendships formed and good
times shared,
And laughter through the years.
A life well lived is a legacy,
Of joy and pride and pleasure,
A living, lasting memory,
Our grateful hearts will treasure.
12-1

But from our hearts,
You're never gone.
We think about you always,
We talk about you too,
We have so many memories,
But we wish we still had you.
