In he death on Sunday of Wm. Bry- dune, K. C., Clinton loses a valuable cit- izen. He commenced the practice of law there in 1894 and was appointed a K. C. in 1928. He was chairman of the Huron County War Auxiliary and also of the military tribunal. He took an active interest in matters pertaining to education, having been chair man of the collegiate linatitute board for years. Due to his wide knowledge of til erature and the time and attention devot- ed thereto, Clinton enjoys the privileges of a public library which is a standing tri- bute to his efforts, He was born in Milverton, where inter- ment was made on Tuesday following a short service in the Presbyterian church Clinton, at which Rev, C. The members of Blyth Lodge I, O. F. have an invitation from Wingham Lodge to attend decoration ceremonies in Wingham Cemetery next Sabbath after- noon. The surveying gang in connection with paving the highway between Clinton and Wingham next year, have been making the survey through Blyth during the pan - couple of days. Remember the "Tattoo" on the Driving Park Grounds next Wednesday night, June 25. It is expected that five bands will participate-Wingham, Lucknow, Milverton, Listowel and Blyth.
