In total quantity Bruce, Grey, Simcoe and York take the lead, partly due to the fact that clove alsike are grown abundantly. The honey crop for the province for the season of 1028 was 13 859,969 pounds three-fourths of which was classed white. The estimat- ed value was over million dollars. The remains of Mrs. Joseph Habkirk, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Habkirk, at Neepewa, Man., on Fri- day list, arrived here on Tuesday and were conveyed to St. Andrews' Unit,d Church where service was held by Rev. Geo. Weir. followed by interment to the Union Cemetery. The deceased, who was 91 years old last October, was the widow of the late Joseph Habkirk, who passed away about thirty years. Some time af- terwards Mrs, Habkirk and her two daugh ters, Belle and Jennie, moved to Brussels, afterwards moving west where they have since resided.
