WHITESIDE OF THE MONTREAL CONFERENCE On the afternoon of el'editesclay of last week a very pretty and interest- ing event occurred at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Williams of Zurich, the occasion being the marriage of their eldest daughter, Laura Char- lotte, to the Reee R.. II. Whiteside of the London Conference. The ceremony was performed by Rew. W. Yaeger in the presence of up- wards of fifty guests. .As the bride entered the parlor leaning upon the arm of her father, IVIendelssolin's wedding march was be- ing played by her friend, Miss Mabel Heiste of Port Huron. The bride was assisted by her sister, Miss Ethel Williams, while the groomsman was Rev. Charles Baker of Carlingford. Of the guests those coming from a distance were : Miss Helen Paxton of Otterville, Rev. and Mrs. Daniel of Crediton, Miss Marion Petrie of Lon- don, Mr. and Mrs. Clark of Clinton, Mr. and Mrs. J. C.
