A picnic - will be held in Forster's
slats on May 24th under the auspices
of the. Women's ;Institute,. The . pro-
moters are making arrangements for
the entertainment of 'a large crowd. '
The township gun club will also pic-
nic on Victoria Day on Mr.. John
Newcombe's farm. The forenoon the
members .of the club will devote to
rifle - practice, the afternoon, to feast-
ing, speaking and merriment of var-
ious kinds, and the .evening to danc-
ing. 'rhe club is looking forward to
entertaining its friends in right royal
