MOVING PIUTURES.-There were good crowds, mostly of young folks, at the town hall on Monday and Tuesday nights, to see the entertainments given by the Imperial Moving Picture Co. The pictures included scenes of the Duke of York's visit, the Ptn•Ame,i- can, marine, naval, comic, etc. '!he pictures were. wit h a few exceptions, clear, and afforded much amusement. Hooper, agent for the Canadian Accident and Sick Benefit Insurance Oo., handed to A. H. Goodwin,of town, a cheque for $62.86 as compensation for twelve weeks and four days under that dread disease appendicitis, he having taken a policy in this colrpsny Last summer. Likewise a few days ago a cheque for $900 was handed to Mrs T. H. Dennis, formerly of Auburn, whose husband was killed in the electric plant running in connection with the grist mill, a policy having just been taken out a week previous to the sal event. Mrs Dennis did not receive the full thousand dollars from the fact that her husband was working in a more dan geraus occupation than that fcr which he was insured. Mr John Bamford was thrown violently:on his back against the glass window, which broke, and two other passengers fell upon him.
