on some course of Auden with reference
to bringing out s candidate • for the

names were mentioned, among them
J. N. McKenzie. and M. Dalton, reeve.
We are told that the former declined

asked for time -before coming to a
decision. The gathering was a large
one, and pledged itself to stand by Mr
Dalton, should he accept.
