William George Johnston, who died
last week,was born In Huron township,
Bruce county, in 1850. Five years ago
he moved to Hay township near Fans-
ville, where he married Miss Elizabeth
Dignan. She mind two small abildren
survive him. Six weeks ago he was
taken down with typhoid fever and
despite ' good nursing he succumbed to
the disease on Tue6daV evening. He
was a member of tbeAfethodist church,
having professed conversion at the
Crossley and Hunter meetings here,
