of Mr. Andrew Keys, who. died Nov.
8rd at his late home on the Babylon
Line,. lie had reached. the age of sixty
nine years. He had been declining
in health for the past few years, but
not until the last few weeks was .hs
bedfast. All that medical aid and lov-
ing hands could do to restore him, to
health was of no avail, he just seemed
.to. grow weaker and weaker. lie suffer-
ed no pain during his illness and when
death came it was so peaceful he seem-
ed to have fallen asleep.,He leaves a
widow and two sons, ,Tamed T. and
Nelson, to mourn the lose of a loving
husband and kind father, also a large
circle of relatives and friends by whom
he will be greatly missed for he was
a very kind friend and in times of sick-
ness or trouble of: any kind he was
always there with a word of sympathy
and a helping hand, The funeral ser.

W, Andrewa, after which Mr. Keys'

Funeral.—On.Friday at 12 o'clock the
remains of Mrs. Young of London
arrives for interment at Ball's cemetery
this being the home of her youth as
daughter of the late Robert McGee,
Mrs. McLachlin, deceased's sister, and
eon are at present staying here and
preparing to move their effects. Mrs.
Menzie and another sister and husband
of Ingersol, also Mr. R.
McGee were

• A sad accident happened on Monday
evening when Mr. Dennis, the miller,
was putting on the swith board and
unfortunately naught holdof the two
handles and the whole current passing
through his body killed him instantly.
His hands were badly burned. His
partner Mr. Tom, was away at the
time and did, not get home till ten that
night.. Mr. Dennis has only been here
a short time but had won many
friends. The remains were taken to
his former home for interment.
Matrimonial. -Mr, L. Scrimgeour
has joined benedict ranks by taking to,

Mr. Edward Durnin, who died very
suddenly on Saturday, Nov, 2nd, was
going around as usual shortly before
his death, though not strong. He was
in hia seventy seventh year. Ele retired
from farm life some two years ago and•
came to the village to live. He was a
staunch member of. the Church of Eng-
land. He leaves, a widow, seven sons
and two daughters.' The funeral took
place Wednesday last when Rev.
Mr,
Goldburg gave a short address at the
home. The funeral proceeded to the
church for service et which there was a
large gathering of friends, The pall-
bearers were his five son, Thomas,
William, Robert, James and Albert,
and his son -In-law, Mr. M, Woods of
'St. Helens. The sympathy of the
community: is extended to the, bereaved
family.
Mr. W.McMath is very ill at present.
Percy Saunderson has returned from
Manitoba as has also Willie Kirk.
Mr. James holland of Goderich was
the guest of Mr. Duff last week,
Miss Cora Roberts, who is attend-
ing school at Goderich, Sundayed • at
home.
Mr, Sturdy and daughter of St.
Helens have moved to the village to
live.
Mr. J. Medd V. S. intends building
an office on the corner of his lot.
