Professor Day, man who is recognized
from one end of Canada to the other as
an authority on all classes of live stook,
more partioularly bacon hogs, has made
the following statement : "
" I believe it would be an advantage
to this country if we had but one breed
ofhogs."
"In Denmark," continued the speak-
er "1 understand they have praotic-
•ally adopted the one breed system.
The advantage is obvicius. The great
demand in the markets of the world to-
day is uniformity of product, and that
you secure, in bacon, by haying but
one breed of hogs. I do not see why
this system could not at least be applied

he a great advantage to the Harriston.
