The animal fell on the sidewalk and, outside of a strap being broken, no damage was done, A FORMER RESIDENT DEAD. -The many friends of Mrs, J. G. Moser, sr,. and mother of our townsmnnl J. 0. Moser, will he surprised to hear that the old lady passed away on Sunday evening at Benmiller. She was in her 85th year and her death was due rather to old age than to any specific ailment. The deceased was born in Germany and cause to this country with her par- ents when about 20 years of age, The family settled in Ellice town- ship and Mrs. Moser retrained there until the death of her husband 98 years ago. For about six years after that she lived at Blyth, and since then has matte her home with her son-in-law, W. C. Durst, at Bea- 11110er. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. D^ustedt in Ellice township, and a brother, Christophe', in Full• tutor' township. Six children sur vive, John G.
