of the merits of Peychine for all
stomach troubles,
"For seven years I have bad indiges-
tion and dyspepsia. I tried scores of
remedies. My room resembled a drug
store with nostrums which I had bought.
Eventually I used Peychine, and every
dose brought permanent relief,''
All throat, lung and stomach troubles

An important circular has been ia-
suedby the railway authorities to the
engineers and firer,ent, regarding the
law of sounding whistles. The circu•
lar states that complaints have been
received from different sources saying
that the late regarding sounding
whistles before resettling a crossing is
neglected. 'Ile railway commission
have also called the attention of the
neglect of engineers in this matter.
The circular concludes by urging the
engineers to be watchful and obey the
law by sounding their whistles at least
93 yards from a crossing, In the fut•
1105 an engineer or fireman failing to do
this will be dismissed.

Every business is down to hard pan ;
everyone is cutting things fine. But
one by one, trade by trade, line by line,
things are opening up. Mill after mill
that was shut down or on halt time is
increasing its output ; orders for goods
are corning in ; and money from abroad
is steadily coming into the country for
Canadian securities. The railways are
still crying out low earnings, hut even
earnings are looking up and the roads
will be forced to put more men on in
order to handle the increased business.
