On election night the Conservatives
had Industry Hall where the returns
were announced and between acts a
musical program was givou. The
Liberals received the sad vows in the
old stand of N. a Gerry's,

The election in the Province of Que•
,dee was a triumph for the Liberal
party. Five Beats were won by the
Liberals by acclamation. In three
seats there were no contests, as the
elections were postponed in these until
.Tune 80, Out of 65 sante in which were
held on Monday the Liberals won 47,
the Conservatives 15 and the Nation-
alist,'8. The Liberals will probably
gain the three seats on June SOtl1.
