The Council met in accordance with
the statute, on the 15th, 'the Mayor
presiding and all the (Councillors pres-
ent. The financial statement for then
year was presented by the treasurer.
As to the part payment for uv culvert
on the Huron road, the clerk was in-
structed to write 13ullett township, ex-
plaining whythe account should not
be borne. The usual rebate of taxes
was gr.snted to those having fire acres
or more within the. corporation used
for farmiog purposee; the Gun Club
property was included in the number.
Owing to d misunderstanding as to the
date the 5% addition to taxes unpaid
after Dec, 14th will cot be imposed on
•those paid on the 15th.
