DEATG.-After an illness extending over a period ot six months, Rachel, daughter of John Redmond, of West- field, passed quietly away on Thureday afternodn of last week. Although Much Weakened by her illness she re- mained conscious to the last. The fun- eral took place on Saturday morning, Oct. 80h, which Was one of the largest ever witnessed in those parts, the pro- cession being 180 rigs. The remains were brought to St. Augustine church where solemn high mass was celebrat- ed by Rev. D P. MeMenanin, after which they were interred in St.Atigus- tine cemetn'y.
