A September
Linen sale and
The Reason for it
THE CLINTON XsEW ERA
On the Morning of : Saturday the 8th of ° September we
inaugurate the biggest sale of fine Linens that this store or
this .town has, ever known and one that will prove .a big . money
saver to every.buyerthat comes linens while it lasts.
There's not a singleyard of old shop worn stock or inferior
qualities in the lot we will offer but allare bright new goods and
thoroughly reliable .qualities. Prices . are such that . you can
save 25e to 350 on, every ddllar you spend • on linens during the sale.
The Reasonforit
The Brookfield Spinning Co., one of the largest makers of fine linens and
handkerchiefs in Belfast have bad an agency and. carried a stock in Canada
for severalyears. A short time ago they decided to close the agency and sent
a representative out with instructions to dispose of the stock'. - He sold it • at
a big reduction from the regular prices. We were in the market when the
purchasers were moving the stock and before a dollars worth was offered
to the trade, secured some of the biggest linen values it has ever been our
good fortune to buy: We will soon be light into fall business and want
these linens out ofthe way quickly, so are going to turn them over to you
at a small advance and start the selling of them on
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 8th,
Values like these are not likely to be duplicated for many a day and you had better come
as
, Saturday or . earl next week as possible for when any of these lines sell out they 'cannot be
:
• replaced. • You can't make moneany easier than by taking advantage of these extra
special offerings.
