'13 . , • The following estimates for the pro.. vjnces, as judged by appearances august 4th, were issued by the Ontar- io Department of A.grieulture. he aereages are final, but the yields (ex- cept in the case of hay) will be revis- ed from actual threshing resolts in November: • Fall wheat shows an area of 1,086,- 000 acres harvested, the estimated yield being 22,812,292 bushels, or 21.3 bushels per,acre - a considerable in- crease over IAA yeart. Spring wheat' has an area of 276,905 acres yielding 6,728,927 busbels or 17.9 bushels per acre. Average about the same as last year. Barley -The area is 577,810 acres; estimated yield. 16,290,332 bushels, or an average of 28.2 bushels per acre. Last year an average of 30.2 bushels. • Oats -Yield, 88,305,150 bushels from 2,398,000 acres, this avei age being 368 bushels per acre. This is a small variation from last year, Rye -An acreage of 142,213 yields 2,373,355 bushels, or 1.6,7 bushels per acre. Pees show a decreased area and beans an increased area this season, H d show a slight in- crease in area, but the yield is below the average.
