ST. PALM'S OFIIIRCFX.-- The laruen
party and Mrs Jarley's wax wor giv-
en on the rectory grounds, under the
auspices of the church, on Thurs-
day evening was so good, that, by re-
quest,it was repeated on Tuesday even-
ing, when again there was a very good
attendance. The wax works was the
feature of the evenings' ehjoyment and
were all well taken by those who re-
presented the many figures under the
direction of Mr Tenney. The 0 0, F.
band discoursed its excellent, selections
on the first evening and the Salvation
Army band rendered some fine music
on the latter evening.. Ihe proceeds
on the former evening amounted to
$85 which shows the success it was.
