members of farmers' institutes, dairy

provement is one deserving of consid.

W. J. Chapman of Wingham and H.

On May 31st Thomas Shiels, brother
of John and George Shiels, 14th and
16th concessions, Grey, died at Ransom,
North Dakota. He wasa former resi-
dent of Grey and his age was 77 years,
10 months and 19 days. Deceased was
born at Bigger, Lanarkshire, Scotland,
on the 12th of July, I819. In 1840 he
married Elizabeth Prentise, who died
about five ears ago.
