HURON COUNTY COUNCIL.
The June session of Huron county

The county auditors reported that
they had ,examined the books of the
treasurer and found the same correct;
the mortgages held by the county as
security for sinking fund were also cor-
rect, and the security given by the
treasurer was satisfactory. The total
receipts for 1902 were $19,049,28; the

balance of 81880.44.

The good roads committee reported
that after considering the number of
unfavorable expressions from the sev-

HOUSE OF REFUGE.
The house of refuge committee report-
ed that they had met on January 80th

of making binder -twine from flax has
drawn attention to the extent to which
