to the use of Dr. Williams' Pink Pills,
aril knowing that his story would in-

following is Mr. Petch's narrative as
given the reporter :
"I had been sick for some five years.
I consulled in that time with no lees

had lost the use of fny limbs entirely.
When I began takin r Dr. Williams'
Pink Pills I could notdress myself and
had not dressed myself for two years
previous. I could not even open my
mouth enough to receive any solid
food, and I. had to be. fed with a spoon.
I seemed to have lockjaw. I could not
get up or down the doorsteps, and if I
fell clown I had to lie there until I was
helped up. I could not get around
without it cane or crutch. My flesh
seeined to be dead. Yon might have

might roast me and I would not sweat.
I vvits a member, of the Mutual Aid
Association of Toronto, and, as under
the Iules I wits entitled to a disability
insurance, I made applicsttion fo-it . I
was examined by two doctors on be-
half of the Association and pronon:Ic-
ed permanently disabled, and was in
due time paid my disability insurance
of $1,500. This was abort two years
after I first took sick. Things went on
in this way for it considertLble period
and myhelplessness,was ifanyythinp', on

about the cures through the use of Dr.
Williams' Pink Pills, and at last deter-
mined to try them. After using four
or five boxes there was it change. It
first niade itself manifest by my be-
ginning to sweat freely. I made up
my mind to give them a thorough
trial and to my surprise I have gained
in health and strenl5th ever since. I
take no other medicine except Pink
Pills. I begun taking them when all
other medicines and the doctors failed
to dome any good. I could not get
off my chair without help. I never
expected toget better but Pink Pills
have rescued me from a living death,
and now I am happy to say I can work
and walk and get around finely. I eat
heartily, sleep soundly, and feel like it
new man, and I ascribe the cause en-
tirely to Dr. Williams Pink Pills. I
cannot say too much in their praise
and recommend them highly to all
similarly afflicted."
The above is Mr Petch's ungapnished
statement of his case and we might;
add, we know him to be it respectable,
reliable gentleman, who hits no inter-
est, in making the statement only to do
good to others who might become af-
icted its he was.
This strong testimony proves the
claim inade that Dr. Williams' Pink
Pills cure when other medicines fail,
and that they deserve to rank as the
greatest discovery of modern medical
science. The public should always be.
on their guard against imitations and

one of his mules loose; and at once,
much to the discromflture of the engi-

that brought them to the home camp.
Now, this mule had never before been

SHAPE OF DITCHES.

It Is a bad blunder to make ditches

Preparation of Rennet.
The desirability of ing two
strings to a bow Is often f 1t,, When
butter is a drug In the market the
dairymen turns his thoughts vaguely
toward cheese making, either for sale
or for family use, but his memory is
foggy as to details, especially about
rennet. This may help him : The ren-
net (used to coagulate the milk) is
the fourth stomach of a sucking calf.
It is carefully cleaned ,without wash-
ingrubbed with salt, stretched and
th;;. dried by artlfltcal heat. For use,
the dried rennet is soaked in brine,
one rennet to a gallon of brine, and
this liquid (rennet -charged brine) is
used. One rennet is enough to coagu-
late more than 1000 gal, of milk, the
usual quantity used being 1-2 pint of
the liquid for -70 gal. of milk. Ten
years ago lm,ported rennets were
much used, the strength being
thought more uniform than in those
prepared by the cheese makers them-
selves. Of late, rennet extracts and
rennet tablets have supplanted the old
form of rennet, being easier to handle
so m to get uniform results, although
there Is. one thing not guaranteed -
and that Is the strength of the ex-
tract.

SHAPE OF DI.I-onm
desirable shape, as once seeded to
grass It cannot get out of order. The
mower and rake also are not hinder-
ed In their working, but perform as
well going Into and out of the ditch as
when on a level. B is especially
suited to meadows very wet In spring
and fall and dry at harvest time. -

Preparation of Rennet.
The desirability of ing two
strings to a bow Is often f 1t,, When
butter is a drug In the market the
dairymen turns his thoughts vaguely
toward cheese making, either for sale
or for family use, but his memory is
foggy as to details, especially about
rennet. This may help him : The ren-
net (used to coagulate the milk) is
the fourth stomach of a sucking calf.
It is carefully cleaned ,without wash-
ingrubbed with salt, stretched and
th;;. dried by artlfltcal heat. For use,
the dried rennet is soaked in brine,
one rennet to a gallon of brine, and
this liquid (rennet -charged brine) is
used. One rennet is enough to coagu-
late more than 1000 gal, of milk, the
usual quantity used being 1-2 pint of
the liquid for -70 gal. of milk. Ten
years ago lm,ported rennets were
much used, the strength being
thought more uniform than in those
prepared by the cheese makers them-
selves. Of late, rennet extracts and
rennet tablets have supplanted the old
form of rennet, being easier to handle
so m to get uniform results, although
there Is. one thing not guaranteed -
and that Is the strength of the ex-
tract.
