There were about 550 bead of butchers' cat- tle, 100 calves 4 sheep and one spring lamb offered for sale at the East End Abattoir, The butchers were out in considerable numbers, but trade was unusually dull, and prices were even lower than on Thursday, and it is probable that a considerable number of cattle will not be sold. Choice beeves sold at from 2110 to 310 per lb pretty good animals from 21 to 33e per lb, and common stock, including a number of milkmen's strippers, at from 2o to 23c per lb. Calves sold at from ee to $8 each; superior veal° only bring more. There were no sales of sheep reportod, but the spring lamb sold for $7.
