One day I saw a, neighbor whom; L

Dr. Williams' Pink Pills he promptly
replied, and that determined me to try

Pink Pills cured me, and that is some-
thing other medicines failed to do. I

I reason to be grateful for what

about twelve years of age, was taken
with an attack of cold." Inflainmation
of the lungs set in and as he was
recovering from this, other complica-
tions followed which developed into
St. Vitus dance, which got so bad that
he could not possibly stand still. We
gave him Dr. William' Pink Pills,
with the result that he is now thor-
oughly cured, and looks as though he
had never had a day's sickness in his
life, and if these facts, which are
known to all the neighbors, will he of
benefit to anyone else, you are at

Dr. Williams' Pink Pills are a specific
for all diseases arising from an irn-
pol-erished condition of the blood or a
shattered condition of the nervous
forces, such as St. Vitus dance, locomo-
tor ataxia, rheumatism, paralysis,
sciatica, the after effects of la grippe,
loss of appetite, headache, dizziness,
chronic erysipelas, scrofula. etc. They
are also a specific for the troubles
peculiar to the female system, correct -
mg irregularities, suppressions and all
forms of female weakness, building
anew the blood, and restoring the glow
of health to pale and sallow cheeks.
In thecase of rnen they effect a radical
cure in all cases arising froin mental
worry, overwork, or excess of any
nature. Dr. Williams' Pink Pills are
sold ofily in boxes hearing the firm's

Those dragging pains in the loins

It is a great healer, and its continuous
use for a short time completely banish-

lapsing into my professional tone, "with

Bicycle Racing.
The rapidity with which bicycle rac-
ing has sprung into popularity is one
of the most striking teatures in the
world of sport to -day, and in this cols:
nection the racing tournament under
auspices of the Stratford Bicycle Club
on Tuesday, August`27, is attracting
widespread attention. • The League of
American 1\ heehnen, the United
States organization corresponding with
the Canadian Wheelmen's Association
iu this country ip this year running a
series of race meets through Canada.
But seven places will he visited, and
the Stratford Club has been fortunate
enough to secure one of the dates, Aug.
27. The club has been actively engag-
ed for months past preparing for the
meet, and a novel feature in the way of
prizes has been introduced, every prize
being an unset diamond, the total value
of the prizes figuring up to $800.
A host of the fastest, racing men in
the United States will visit Canada on
this occasion for the first time, and as
Stratford is the only place in this dis-
trict to be visited a very large attend-
ance is looked for. Taking into con-
sideration the club's new third -mile
bicycle track, which has been greatly
improved this season, and the aggrega-
tion of fastmen from the United States
and Canada who will be there, a day of
prime sport is assured those who at
tend. Reduced railway,rates have
been arrantred for from alpoints.

known Toronto journalist, Mr. W.

uses the medicine has a good word to
say for it.

A Warning To Smokers.
For some time. past certain dealers
have been sellinginferior brands of to-
bacco when "I' B" is asked for, thus
not only trading on the reputation of
the manufacturers but also injuring the
sale of the article.
The Geo. E. Tuckett & Son Co., of
Hamilton, have tahen the platter in
hand and intend prosecuting the offen-
ders.
Smokers should be careful to see the
"T &B" stamp on each plug as, to gain
extra profit, unscrupulous dealers tear
the tag off other brands and say it is
"T & B" and "just as good."
