Itis our painful duty to record the
deathof an old and respected resident in
the person of Mr. Geo. Burrows, sr.,
after an illness of a few weeks. Ile
had been complaining some time wheu
he was attacked with the grip, which
finally carried him off, at the advanced
age of 74 years. Mr. Burrows came to
this country from Ireland over forty
years ago, and settled in the then
almost unbroken forest where he clear-
ed up a farm and made a comfortable
horne for himself and family. He was
an honest man and a good neighbor
and his aged partner and fainil"y have
the sympathy of the whole neighbor-
hood in their afflictions. His family
