The butch- ers were not numerous, and trade. was rather �lap� with a docline in prices all round since last Thursday, though they were fully as good an on last Monday. A few herd of the best cat- tle sold at nearly 4o per lb., with pretty good 310 to stook at from nearly ape per lb. Rough steers, thirty young cattle and common dry cows sold at from 20 to 3c., and the leaner beasts and hard -looking bulls at from 2c to Sic per lb. Good calves sold at fro& $5 to $10 each, and common veals at from $2 to $4 each. Sheep aold at from 3o to 54jc per Ib., and lambs at from to $3.50; good lots of lambs selling at from 85 to $3.25 each, being the lowest prices paid season.
