THE BRITISH CATTLE MARKET
LivERPOOL, June 26.—The market con-
tinues dull and week. Receipts of United
States and Canadian cattle have been very
heavy and general home supplies have
also been very fair. Prices, calculated at
34.80 to the'£. are: Fineetsteers, 1140; good
to choice ilo; poor to medium, 10o; inferior
and balls, 74 to 9.
MONTREAL LIVE STOOK MARKET
There were about 250 head of butchers'
cattle, 160 calves, 800 sheep and piga, and
over 100 lean hogs and small pigs offered at
the east abattoir today, Prides of cattle
made a farther advance to -day and were
decidedly the highest of the season, quality
oonsidered. The best butchers' cattle sold
at from 44 to 5o per lb, and there ,were
