James Steep, apple buyer, has rented P. Fergerson's brick store for the purpose of storing apples therein. The Cosgrove Company gave an excellent entertainment to a large audience on Monday evening of this week. They came under the auspices•of the Foresters. A meeting of the School Board was called for Friday evosning of last week for the purpose of cleoos- ing a staff of teachers for the con• ming year, but for want of a quorum no business was done.
