DID THEY GET THERE—Two stud-
ents were sent out from one of the
theological colleges in Toronto to
supply a pulpit in E—for Sunday
last They had to exchange cars at
Stratford. The Saturday evening
train, which was due to leave a 7:20
was an hour late. Their disciplined
minds found this delay very hard
to endure, it tried their patience
very much. They walked .up and
down the station platform until
they were tired. Then they board•
ed the train for Goderich and for a
moment or two they . sat quietly
nursing their displeasure. At
length their pont up indignation
burst forth in floods of collage day
eloquence at the expense of the
railway company, suing the Com-
pany for damages, etc. At this mo-
ment the G. T. R. •official whose
duty it is to go through the train
and .ascertain if .;all. -the passengers
on board are on 'the right train
passed through the coach : All
passengers for Goderich, he shouted
in measured tones- We're not go•
ing anywhere just now we're at a
standstill, said one of the students.
The train started, the conductor
called out "Tickets." The two
students handed him their tickets
with an air of condeecension. The
conductor looked at them and then
he looked at the students with some-
thing like pity in his eye. "You
are on the wrong train," said the
