As ie usual on Easter Mouclay ',there
was very little business done on the
cattle markets. The supply of butchers
cattle was emall and bat few butchers
put in an appearance as they have
enough of dressed meat on hand to do
them for another week. The prices of
cattle continue firm at about last week's
assortment of Nickle Time,Nickle rates, quality considered. There were
no extra beeves offered to -day and the
Alarm and Nickle Luminous highest price paid was 510 per lb., 'with
pretty good stook at from 4i to no do.,•
while rough and leanish beasts sold at
frompic to 4c per lb. The few calves
offered were of poor quality and seemed
to be not wanted. There were no mut•
ton critters offered. The price of fat
hogs is advancing, a emall lot of porkers
were sold at 5ic per lb.
