The Cold Ago Pensions Vonetnittee
parted holding four meetings. Eighteen 1
new rases were retuned and ten recon- ,
mended at the January meeting, and
105 at the February, March and MaY
sittings. The number of applications
is decreasing but the . re -considerations
are increasing, mainly due to the feet
that a considerable gosling down has
been made in the amounts granted.

The committee met once at the Shel-
ter. Two retens were papered and some
inside painting done. Four new mat-
tresses were purchased. There are at
present fifteen children in the Shelter,

there are too bulges,, The committee

of the matron have been doubled by the

tor of Department of Welfare had sug-

Efforts to have items for weed -cutting
and calcium chloride struck off the esti-

During the past winter and spring, the
road's suffered severely, There was
much wet weather in the fall, and alter-
nate freezing and thawing throughout
the winter Caused many to break up in
the spring, so that for a considerable
period much of the mileage was not
passable for ease, and all roads this.

An examination was made of the
connecting links in Erussels, but to
view of the feet that no bylaw is being
passed making additions to the. County
Read System, and considering that the
Department have before them a number
of additions on which no action has yet

timely suggestions and recipes :for the
