Thieves were busy in fkoderkh at the

beries being •reported to the police. On
Sunday evening some person gained eft -
trance by mean of a skeleton key, it is
thought, to East street home and stole
two ladies' purses, One cot -dallied $60
in money and the opther wine trinkets.
The occupants of thb house were out, at
the time. The same evening a home on
Si. David's street was entered• and three
pairs et ladies" silk stockings, a Christ -

Were at church. A hidden key for the
front door was located by the thief. On
Monday night a gentlemen's leather
windbreaker wag stolen from Orldfellows'
Hall during the progress of a dance. To
date there hes been no development in
the Buehler grocery store robbery. An
eftort also was nide to meter Smith's
Bakery on East street. The thief was
evidently disturbed, for he left bie over-
coat behind and the police have a valu-
able clue.
