Mr. Will Alton Detroit
The above is the design which MR. C. C. Lee, proprietor elf Hotel Sun-
set, is using this season on much the greater pert of the envelopes which
carry his booklet through the mails. The drawing is by Mr. Thos. Peitch-
ard, of Goderich, and represents the progress of a centaary in hotel accom-
modation in Goderich. Very early in Goderich'a history we read of a
hotel being located only a block or so north of the site of Ae modern Hotel
Sunset. This hotel was built on the lake bank no daunt in the belief that
the railway when it eves to be built to Goderich was to enter along the
lake shore from the south, with a station at the harbor, as is shown on.
early plana of the town, The ox -cart which is shown drawls up in front of
the old hotel• In the lower picture is now replaced by the classy automobile
of the summer tourist who makes the splendidly modern Hotel Sunset his
residence while visiting in Goderich. Mr. Lee has had considerable work
dome in the hotel for this seasoner The mirror and woodwork which formed
the beck'tif the bar in the Ocean House (now torn down), has been added
to the Adornment of the rotunda of Hotel Sunset with good effect, Mr. Lee
hashad
the top tint of the hotel entirely redecorated, and the downstairs
wing also has been redecorated. He has changed the lighting system and
Installed some new lighting fixtures. Old ruga. of the hotel have been made
up into beautiful new runners by the Dominion Itug Company of Brantford.
This year Mr. Lee issued 6,000 copies of hi.,.booklet, and it is worth'not-
ing that almost the whole book is about the( beauties and attractions of
Goderich, only enough. matter about Hotel Sunset to give the fates and
accommodations which the hotel has to offer, and the effect Is thus to Ret.
the prospective visitor "sold" on Goderich first. That Mr. Lee is. reaping
in -increased bookings at the hotel from year to year is gratifying and this.
year he states teat he is getting more bookings, and for longer terms
than usual,, so early.in the season.

WOMEN WHO ARE WEAK
Gala New Vitality ` by Building Up
theThere are many women who puss
their days in a constant state of wear-
iness. They have barely sufficient
energy to enable them to perform
their manifold duties. Often they
have an aching head,., a miserable pain
in the back, and limbs that feel as
heavy as lead. The whole trouble is
due to bloodlessness. No . woman
need suffer in this way, It is easy to
obtain It supply of rich red blood by
taking Dr. Williams' Pink Pills. The
new blood created by these pills rap-
idly builds .up the system; heaeachee
and beekaehes disappear, energy re-
turns and the joy of living is felt once
more.
Proof of these statements is given
by Mrs; Ed. Lahore, Stoney Point,
Ont., who says:—"'For a long time I
had been in a very rnizerable condi-
tion, always feeling tired out, sleepy
and weak. Tho least work about the
house would leave me helplessly tired
and nothing that I did seemed to, give
relief, Believing that a rest might
do roe good, we moved' to town, but,
contrary to expectations, instead of
getting better I was growing steadily
weaker, One der while talking to a
neighbor. she urged my taking Dr.
Williams' Pink Pit ,Is me that
her daughter had been in' a'conclition
much like mine. This persuaded me
to try this medicine, and I have much
reason to be grateful that I followed
her advice. .After the use of a few .
boxes of the pills, there could be no I
doubt that they were helping sue, and
as I continued their use my health
and strength came back, and now I
am doing all my, own work, and feel-'
ing in the best of health. For this
splendid condition I must give niy
thanks to Dr. Williams' Pink Pills." l

Balloon Tire Tread
Low pressure conditions distribute moat of the weight and
wear toward the outer edges of the Balloon Tread, so; that
is where Firestone engineers place most of the rubber. At
the direct center is a deep grove, between two narrow flexing
ricer strips and flanked by additions) grooves, which nearly
close up when the rubber spreads out as the tire is placed
under load. Next come the wide outer rider strips with numer-
ous sharp -edge projections for noes -skid qualities. These pro-
jections are small to permit the tread to yield to irregularities
and cling to the road. The carcass of the Balloon Tire must
have the qualifications to withstand the extreme hexing
which this; tread permits. Firestone provides extra strength
and endurance by dipping the cords of the carcass in a rubber
solution, which completely saturates and insulates every
fiber of every cord, insuring the highest degree of econotny,
safety and comfort.
