FIRST.-aTo begin with- Merchants of Clinton 'hale no money to throw away, and therefore, So got keep "a big staff of IDLE clerks to look at ono another;" but in order to meet the de- mands of the public the FIRST-CLASS HOUSES are obliged to employ an able staff, and that obviates the n 'cesaity'ofLadies standing about, waiting to be served, as they would have to do in y;, the case of EVEN- A MODERATE Rr511 at "Cheapside." We don't say, like Cheapside, "Don't Jubileo've its" but we strongly advise you to be careful what you swallow however, with the amount of business which can be transacted by two hands, his expenses would need to be very much less, in order to make both ends meet.
