Huron Record, 1881-10-21, Page 9113elluuillear, - DOES GROWINa SORGHUM CANE PA'k.--. tlld` sorghum cane is now being sown extensively, perhaps the result of my experience in its, growth and manu- facture may be of some interest to some of those who have not grown it Ws year. I sowed of an acre of land which took eight day's labor for tilling, cutting, 4c. ; it took one day with my team in taking it to be manu- factured ; it cost 'me 30c. per gallon fdr getting it manufactured ; the whole expense being $12.50 at a low calculation, for which I received five gallons of syrup ,which cost me, on an. average, $2.50, per gallon. The crop wasa good average one. -A Disousr- am Soaauu I GROWER. Londesborough.
