DOM11110$ DAY.—A. grand general
picnic. and strawberry festival, under
the auspices of the Sons of Temperance
of this place, will be held at the Mait-
land Falls, on July 1st. An invitation
has been extended to all the neighbor-
ing Temperance Societies and a general
invitation to all wishing. to spend the
day to advantage. A. large turn out of
members and friends of temperance is
expected. Music will be provided by
the Beominer brass band. •
Pienic.—The Forresters of Londes-
borough, Mancliester, and Godericb,
held a union picnic at the falls on Mon-
day last, on which occasion a large num-
