BOGUS MEDICINES.
IIolloway's Pills and Ointment.
I HAVE for it considerable time past
considered it to be my ditty to adver-
tise the publie of the Ilritieh North
American Provinces against buying
from unprineipled dealers medicines
emanating from New York, and sold as
my "Holloway's Pills and Ointment,"
in which much ingenuity has been dis-
played in passing, them off as of - my
make, It is very difficult indeed to at-
tempt to enumerate the many devices
hi which the parties have had recourse.
they say, amongst other things, that a
new label lies been adopted by them,
and with barefaced effrontery caution
the public against being deceived by
epnrious imitations.
A poor man by the name of Holloway
IS employed by the so-called Chemical
eompeny in Naw York, who lends his
mune for a small weekly sum. The med-
icines sold by this Company are palmed
eff upon the public as my "Holloway's
Pills and Ointment," so that were they
to in jute hell the community no discreet.
It wonld fall upon the fabrirators of
these co upounds, but would considera-
bly tlamego the reputation of my make.
As it is net at all necessary forlhis
eltliNV to ineur any- expense in the sale
'f their productions, or to a very limit-
ed ex t en t (t ratline as they do my name),
they aro in it position to offer them at a
veryletv price in Canada, where they
are purchased by a few Wholesale Houses
that 1 can name, and will retina
hereafter, if they-coutinue to rend the
ea)ne.
The following are the names and ad-
dresses of soma of the !louses 'who get
my medicines from here direct: -

Iron in the Blood
MAKES TIIE WEAK STRONG!'
The Peravian, Syrup, a Protect-
ed Solution of the Protoide of
Iron, is so combined as to have
'the character of an aliment, as
easily digested and assimilated
with the blood as the simplest
food. It increases the quantity
of Nature's Own , Vitalizing
Agent, Iron in the blood, and
tures "a thousand ills," simply
ki Toning up,Invigorating and
Vitalizing the System. The en-
riched and vitalized blood per-
meates every part of th,e body,
repairing damages and waste,
searching out morbid secre-
tions, and leaving .nothing for
disease to feed Upon.
This is the secret of the won-
derful success of this remedy in
curing Dyspepsia, Liver Com-
plaint, Dropfy, Chronic Diar-

Chills and Fevers, Humors,

The above cat represents our
$70 Cragans.
Wilier. thanking our former agents and
customers for their liberal patronage
and cosaliderico for the pee) year [and
which we still hope to retniii,1 we would
respectfullV call their attention to our
style No, 61. This Organ being a 6 oc-
tave, Double Reed IC Scale] is a very de-
sirable instrument for advanced players,
l'ianists or parties educating themselves
for the pianoforte: and as a parlor In-
strument, it meets every requirement. -
Oar No. 30 is the same as 61, but differ-
ent style, and more expensive. Our
No. 32 is pronounced by all who have
seen -it to be the finest Instrument in the
world for the price; Shiaorgan has two.
completesetts same as No 30: with two
additional half setts, viz, Hautboy and
Vox Celeste, making four setts from.
middle C up and also 1?; octave& of Bass
Profundo. We are the first and only
parties who make this line of Instru-
ments, and the universal Ratisfaction
they have given, and the einunense sale
of these Organs, show that they are ap-
preciated and encourages us to make
them a speciality.

have no agents, et ell times confidential-
