to one or mole deputy reeves -and council-
lors. The township council fn each case will
consist of five members, Where the town-
ship has less than five bandied freeholders and
-. householders rated on its assesiment roll, the
, Council will consist of a reeve and four mina-
eillors. A township having- more than five
hundred and less than; one thousand riainesz
on its assessment roll, will hive a reeve, a
deputy reeve, and three councillors For.
• each adelitional five hundred names beyond
the first One, an additional - member :if the
'Council shalt be a deputy reeve. A township
having two thousand ratepayers would send
all its councillors to the Comity Council
