Martin .and two sons, Albert and Harvey, went t., Hamilton, and the funeral was held''. at St. Jacob's Church, in Waterloo County on Tuesday, Nov. 26, where burial took place in the cemetery there. Scholarship, he has completed eight projects and has been a member of 4-H Clubs ,since 1951, and in 1955 represented the county in the Inter -Club contests in beef at the club contests at Guelph. Diploma Course at the Western Ontario Agricultural School, Ridge- town—This year's scholarship for students at the Western Ontario Agricultural School was won by Fred Delbridge,RR 1, Woodham. Fred is 20 yrs old and before enrolling in the agricultural school attended the South Huron District High School. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Delbridge, who live on the 8th concession of Us - borne Township, and is an active member of the Exeter 4 -II Grain Club for the past two years, and last year stood third in that club and during the year represented the club at the 4-H Inter -Club competitions in Guelph. - FARM NEWS OF HURON Variable weather conditions have brought to a halt most outside op- erations. Just about all of the cattle have been stabled. Still a fair demand for replacement cattle. Most of the farmers have work well under control going into winter, accord- ing to D. H. The meet- ing opened by the singing of the CGIT Hymn and repeating the Purpose. The offering was taken, followed by the response. The theme was, "Firmament showeth His work. Hymn 15 was sung, followed by the meditation and scripture by the president. A prayer was given by Faye Little. The Mission study was given by Mrs. Toll. Mrs. Blanchard gave questions on the Bible study.
