Minor Tourney
• The Stratford Minor Baseball
tourney July 6, has Seaforth Ban-
tams scratching their heads.
They're wondering, in particular,

8-5 last Thursday, could hand them
a 10-8 licking two days later, and
go on to finish on top in the Strat-

The myttery team is Sebring-
ville "B" bantams, playing their
first season of organized ball, but
who managed to be just a little
better than their opposition in each
game.
In the July Seaforth-Sebringville
tilt, things shaped up this way:
Seaforth 230 111 'x-8
Sebringville 001 002 2-5
T. Dick and J. Dick; Smith,
Kompf arid Bell.
Bill Konlill, Sebringville, rated
outstanding player hi the Strat-
ford tourney, arrived late in the
game. and struck out both times
at bat. Two ' days later he bit
fourtfor40ttr in the semi-final bout,
tlttee of them triples, to confound
Seafortli pitehers. '
