Harry is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Jacobi, R.R. 2, Kippen. Ile is a graduate of Seaforth District High School. Dublin School News . (By C. MOYLAN) Now that June is almost here, one last effort to make good is being put forth by the student, and as the finals approach the school takes on a little different air, a little more serious, a little more somber. Apart from this, there is an air of competition. Sports are well under way, and for interest sake, teams of girls and boys have been chosen for various sports. There are four teams of girls and two of boys. These teams compete against each other and their progress is eager- ly watched by each student. Plans are being formed for graduation, which we plan to hold June 23. Chickenpox took its toll this month, but we are glad to have the victims back at school again. MR. ARCHIE SOMERVILLE and fam- ily who recently lost their barn and live- stock by fire, would like to express their sincere appreciation and thanks to all kind neighbors and friends who so gen- erously gave of their time and equipment in cleaning up after the fire, and to ev- eryone who helped in any way. Special thanks goes to those who collected and contributed to the large sum of money which was presented to them. 4661x2 WEEK - END --- SPECIALS --- General Electric Automatic Frying Pan Regular 21.95 SPECIAL ' 1519 General Electric Portable Mixer Regular 23.95 SPECIAL 16.99 Limited Quanties • Baldwin Hardwire Household and Builders' Hardware Phone 61 •Seaforth THE CANADIAN LEGION presents Hypnotic Marvels Featuring Dr. Morton Greene • THRILLS • FUN • SURPRISES ONE NIGHT ONLY I Thursday, June 6 8:00 p.m. Seaforth Community Centre Admission _ _ _ $1.00 Students, Children - - 50c Vit.:. 2( This ' is the only' Tip Tod`;; 1957 , - • " sot "1Tuf S i you need a suite bettor ge{ fore June 4th, Alt i'ip log flet. check, stripe- and novelty worse. and tweeds go., into this .h1g sa.,_., (Tropical& and''serges only except,. ed.)
