Vfib week At the /wfortk Outlet Welt tteeea
(By FRANKLIN C. BRYANS)
There is a new character at Sea -
forth High this week. His name is
Vergil, and he has made his ac-
quaintance through the mail. Ap-
parently every girl in Grade 13 re-
ceived one of. Vergil's unusual let-
ters.
The story began last year when
a request was sent to the school
for a list of the names, with other
information, of the Grade 12 stu-
dents. This person claimed he
was an ex -student wishing to give
a graduation gift to some student.
(Suspect some connection.) ..
Vergil's two-page letter describes
a certain type of girl he wishes "to
locate" through "correspondence."
Qualifications found throughout
the letter were:
1. Christian girl -that does not
smoke or drink.
2. Canadian girl -over 5' 7" tall,
over 140 lbs. in weight, between
16 and 23 years of age, and of a
husky build.
3. Single and not going steady.
"Mail a full view picture or give
a description including hip, waist,
bust measure. height, weight, age,
nationality, color of eyes and hair"
(Very personal for a complete
stranger!).
What is Vergil's angle?
Refer to this week's "Dragnet."

Students' Council
There was some debate regard-
ing the orchestra for next year's
formal. The general opinion is
that Seaforth High has the best At -
Home in the county. It has always
been the highlight of the commun-
ity's social events; therefore, the
"At Home" must fulfll this good
reputation.
Mr. Plumsteel pointed out that
this is the one dance of the year
that must appeal to the adults and
not the teenagers. All difficulties
from the previous year have been
cleared up concerning the orch-
estra. A motion made by R. Ennis
and seconded by R. Watson,
brought a unanimous vote to have
Lionel Thornton's orchestra for the
"At Home" next year.

In view of the fine support we
have received from so many fans
this winter, we have decided to
give them an opportunity to re-
serve the seats they have had all
winter for the coming playoff
games, and to this end a seating
plan will be available at Seaforth
Motors. where you • can reserve
your favorite seat for all playoff
games for $1.00. Please make your
reservation as soon as possible, so
any extra seats can be sold later,
as we intend to reserve only the
'B' and 'G' sections, which is the
centre section on each side and
the inside seats. •This makes the
