MRS. ALEX MCNAB
The death occurred in Scott
Memorial Hospital on Monday
night of Mrs-,-• Alexander McNab,
the former Margaret E. McPher-
son, in her 76th year.
Mrs. McNab had been in failing
health for .five years. Her hus-
band predeceased her two months
sago. A brother, Samuel McPher-
son, died two weeks ago.
Born in McKillop Township, she
was the daughter of the late Sam-
uel McPherson and Mary Jane
Cameron. In 1915 she was united
in marriage to the late Alexander
McNab, and in the 'following year
they moved to Seaforth, where she
has since resided. She was a mem-
ber of First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two sons, Rosso, of
Bay City, Mich., and John, of To-
ronto. Also surviving are five
grandchildren and a • sister, Mrs.
Catherine Ross, of Saskatoon, Sask.
Funeral services will • be con-
ducted at the Box Funeral Home
at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday after-
noon by Rev. D. Glenn Campbell.
Interment will follow in MaitIand-
bank cemetery.
MISS THERESA LYNCH
On Saturday morning, August 18,
Theresa Lynch died suddenly at
her home in McKillop, where she
was born 68 years ago and where
she had lived all her life. Rev.
Father McCowell attended her dur-
ing her illness and administered
the last rites of the Catholic
Church a few days before her
death.
She was a . Promoter of the
League of..the Sacred. Heart 'and,
a member of the C,W.L, since it
was organized. In past years she
held the office of corresponding
secretary and other offices.
Miss Lynch •was the daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Matthew
Lynch. Surviving are one brother,
John, at home, and three sisters,
Anne, at home, and Mrs. William
Fortune and Agnes, of Detroit.
' The funeral took place on Mon-
day to St. Columban. Church,
where Requiem Mass was sung by
the pastor, Rev. J. McCowell. Rev.
E. Morris was present in the Sanc-
tuary. Interment was in the,fam
ily plot in St. Columban. The pall-
beJrers were John Moylan, John
Shea, Jr., Joseph Flanagan; 5'r;
Emmett Malone, George Holland
and John Flynn.
