McCloy, Kathy, Jimmy and Christine, of McKillop Charge Ends "Mission To Members" Services Well -attended Easter services concluded the Mission to Members carried on by the United Churches of McKillop during the period of Lent. Inspiring Easter music -was provided by the choirs, and Rev. J. R. Holden preached on the sub- ject, "Christ is Risen." Easter lilies and other flowers added a welcome touch of Spring. On Good Friday night a united service was held in Cavan Church, and members of the three congre- gations took part in an act of re - consecration, repeating in sub- stance vows which they had made when they were first received in- to membership on profession of faith in Christ. A communicant class had been carried on for several weeks. and on Palm Sunday a service of re- ception into full communion and the Sacrament of the Lord's Sup- per were held in each church, The 'members of the class had been presented by the minister to the Session at a preparatory service held in Duff's Church the previous Wednesday night. The young peo- ple who were received into mem- bership included the following: Sandra Doig, Gloria Boyd, Edith Boyd, Shirley Dolmage, Barbara Driscoll, Richard Holden and Dav- id Holden. JAMES SANGSTER HENSALL,--Mrs. James Sang- ster, a resident of Hensall for 35 years, died suddenly in London on Wednesday morning, in her 60tle year. She was visiting her daugh- ter and son-in-law, Mr. .and Mrs.. Jack Peebles, when she was stricken. The former Letitia Evelyn Rob- inson, she was born in Perth, Lan- ark County. A member of Carmel Church, she was active in the work of the Hensall Women's Institute and the Rebekah Lodge, and also in the Hensall Legion Ladies' Aux- iliary. n$iliary. During the war she con- tributed in a large measure to the work of the Red Cross. Her husband predeceased ber ile 1942, but she is survived by four sons: David and James, of Hen- sall; F/O. George Sangster, of R.C.A.F. Station, Crumlin, and. John, of .,.Clinton; and by three daughters: Mrs. Leonard Noakes, of Hensall; Mrs. Jack Peebles, of` London, and Mrs. Victor Stan, of London.
