The singing of Hymn 494 opened the meeting. Mrs. M. Dougall read the scriptural passages. Mrs. S. Dougall took the meditation. Pray- er followed by Miss Hannah Mur- ray. Mrs. J. Bonthron contributed a pleasing so, "There • is a Little Brown Gate." A closing hymn was sung. The business of the meeting was conducted by Mrs. L. Baynham. A report from Treasurer Mrs. W. R. Bell was given. Mrs. R. Cameron reported for the manse committee on sundry accessories needed at the manse. Mrs. W. R 'Bell made a report on a suggested improve- ment project which could be made m the manse kitchen. including modern cupboards. and on an offer made by Rev. Donald MacDonald to do all necessary carpentry work for the project. Mrs. J. Bonthron made a motion that the Ladies' Aid should accept Mr. MacDon- ald's offer and look after all ex- penses involved should it be ap- proved by the Board of Managers. Mrs. Alex MacGregor seconded the motion. The new slate of officers for the coming year was drawn up. Mrs. H. Hoy took charge of the nomina- tions, which : resulted: president, Mrs. M.
