veteran preacher, and is well

The village of Egmondville• as it
stood over 100 years ago is -Por-
trayed in miniature' style in the
store window of Clair Haney, Eg-
mondville. • S .
The miniature reproduction of
the village contains all the:,stores,
hotels, churches, houses and other
small buildings found in Egmond-
Ville at that time. In the opposite
window of the store " Mr: Haney
has pictures of she different build-
ings, combined with a' large ,num-,
ber of antiques.
The brewery, Which *as oper-
ated 'by George Weiland, father of
Henry Weiland ,was sold to Mr..
Colbert in the year 1868, -When
Mr: Weiland was 11 years old. ,
The pottery, .once a thriving
concern; was built by a Mr. Bailer.,
Mr. W5er, With Mr. Burgard as
the 'last owner. - '
The pottery, hotel, Lutheran
Church and ,brewery are now only
memories;
The Van. Egmond home is still
standing .as,tindaunted as in the
days of the old colonel.. It,,has

year. Mr. Richards. had been, ill

in pastel blue, holding confetti,
centred the decorated corner.'

memorial for the -,town from the
Seaforth Old Boys' 'Committee.
