ceremony and sang the Nuptial
Mass. Wedding music was played
by the organist, Mrs. V. J. Lane.
The bride was dressed' in a beige
suit with small preen hat and
matching accessories, and carried
a bouquet of yellow roses. - Mrs.
Herman Klaver,- sister of the
bride, was matron of honor, wear-
ing a figured blue and gray nylon
dress. Mr. Herman Klaver was
groomsman.
The wedding breakfast was serv-
ed at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Klaver, Highway No. 8. Guests
were present from Holland, Credi-
ton, Kippen, Seaforth, Dublin and
St. Columban. Mr. and Mrs. Koop-
man will reside at Waterford.

HENSALL.—Candelight shed a
soft glow on white gladiola and
snapdragons when Dorothy Jane
Guest, daughter of Dr. and Mrs.
F. R. Guest, Windsor, exchanged
vows with Dr. Robert Talbot Col-
lyer, London, Saturday afternoon
in Chalmers' United Church, Lon-
don.
The groom is the son of Dr. and
Mrs. Gerald Robert Collyer, Lon-
don formerly of Hensall. The Rev.
Wilson Morden officiated, and
Mrs. Blair McLean provided tra-
ditional wedding music. Mrs. C.
Murray Straith, Detroit, was ma-
tron of honor, and bridesmaids
were Miss June Leslie, Toronto;
Miss Barbara Smith, London, and
Miss Ann Collyer, London, sister
of the bridegroom'.
James A. Collyer, London, bro-
ther of the groom, was best man.
Ushers were Dr. David B. Forbes,
Stratford; Dr, James L. Weber,
Paris; Gerald R. Collyer, London,
brother of the groom, and Rich-
ard Hobart, of Montreal. ;Dr. and
Mrs. Collyer will live in London.

DUBLIN.—Our Lady of Mount
Carmel Church was the scene of a
lovely wedding when Clara Jean
Ryan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
John Ryan, Crediton., became the
bride of James Joseph Ducharme,
son of Mr. and Mrs. August Duch-
arme; of Dublin.
Red peonies decorated the altar.
The Rev. A. F. Scalisi officiated,
and Miss Betty Anil Coughlin play-
ed traditional wedding music.
Given in marriage by her fatner,
the bride wore a white gown in all-
over lace over satin in floor -length,
featuring strapless bodice and
jacket with lily -point sleeves, col-
lar studded with irredescent se-
quins and pearls, and skirt with
three rows of net rouching and net
flounce. The headdress was in
crowned style with appliques of
matching lace. She carried a bou-
quet of red roses.
Attendants were Miss Mary Ry
an, sister of the bride, as maid
of honor, and Miss Rose Duch-
arme, sister of the groom, as
bridesmaid, Miss Linda Staples,
niece of the groom, was flower
girl. They wore matching gowns
in waltz length, in all-over lace
patterns with multi -tiered net
skirt, strapless bodice and bolero
with winged collar and 'matching
gauntlets, and pillbox headdresses
with matching satin bows in the
shades of buttercup yellow, orchid
and green. The maid -of honor and
bridesmaid carried bouquets of
yellow - carnations and mauve
mums, while the flower girl car-
ried a nosegay of pink carnations.
Thomas Ducharme was best
man • for his brother, and ushers
were Roy Ryan, brother of the
bride, and Kenneth Ducharme,
brother of the groom.
At a reception in the Dominion
House, Zurich, the bride's mother
received , guests wearing a light.
blue crepe dress trimmed with
sparkling rhinestones and navy
accessories and corsage of pink
carnations. Assisting, the groom's
mother chose a navy dress with
navy accessories and a corsage of
red roses. ,
For a wedding trip, the bride
changed lo a grey suit with white -
accessories and a corsage of pink
and white 'carnations. The couple
will reside near Dublin.

VARNA —Baskets of gladiola,
yellow mums' and softly glowing
candles formed the setting for the
wedding in Varna United Church
Saturday, June 18, when- Elva
Lauretta Love, elder daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Love, Zurich,
became the bride of Grant Reg-
inald Webster, son of Mr. Elmer
Webster and the late Mrs. Web-
ster, 'Varna.
The Rev. T. J. Pitt officiated
for the double -ring ceremony. Miss
Ellen Love, Hillsgreen, cousin of
the bride, played traditional wed-
ding music and accompanied the
soloist, Mr. Robert Graham, of
the R.C.A.F. Station, Clinton.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride wore a ballerina length
gown of Swiss embroidered net and
nylon tulle, with a full tiered
skirt. A coronet headdress, trim-
med with rhinestones and pearls,
held her fingertip illusion veil.
She carried a bouquet of red ros-
es.
Miss Marjorie Dowson Varna,
was matron of honor. She -wore
pink net with tiers of lace over
taffeta with matching stole and
headdress. Miss Nancy Powell, of
Clinton, as bridesmaid, wore yel-
low lace over taffeta and with
matching headdress and stole.
Miss Norma Love, Hillsgreen,sis-
ter of the bride, was junior brides-
maid. Miss Love wore lilac net
over taffeta with - matching stole
and headdress. They carried bou-
