To Continue Tagging Parkers
The town Campaign against il-
legal parking on Josephine Street
seems to have borne fruit during
the past week.
Police Chief Bert Platt reports
that about a dozen tickets have
been handed out for overtime park-
ing, all of which have been paid
except one. An improvement in the
parking situation on the main
street has been noticeable since the
check-up went into effect.
The chief says he will continue
to chalk tires and hand out park-
ing tickets where necessary, upon
directions of the •council, in order
to enforce the two-hour parking by-
law passed by council some two
months ago.—Wingham Advance -

MY BROTHER'S KEEPER
"Am I my brother's keeper?"
This question has come down
through the centuries. Cain had
murdered his brother Abel. God
called to him, "Where is thy
brother?" Hot with anger, rebel-
lious with hate, his words tumbl-
ed out; "I know not, am I my
-brother's keeper?" And all the
'voices of all men down through
the uncounted years have repled
as Cain's own conscience dictated
"You are."
Between the time of Cain and
Yet Paul, many centuries rolled
along. Yet we find this Christ -
filled follower of Jesus writing
to the -Romans, "It is good neith-
er to eat flesh, nor to drink wine,
nor anything whereby thy broth
er stumbleth or is offended or
is weak." Too bad that the Rom -
tans did not heed Paul's warning.
They became the infamous glut-
tons and wine -soaked revellers
of the ancient world. They are
relegated -to history books.
But Paul's words are a sob-
ering manifesto to us today.
Either We will heed his warning
or we too will become one , with

Four smelt fishermen who used
plank from beach steps on their
fire were ordered to restore the
property and pay court costs at
Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
Gordon Turnbull, owner of Turn -
bull's Grove, testified he watched
the men take the planks which held
the steps leading from the bluff to
the beach. He called OPP, Const-
able Elmer Zimmerman, who said
he saw one of the plankon fire.
Magistrate Dudley Holmes or-
dered the men to pay court costs
of $22.75 and replace the planks
with new ones before the session of
court or to appear then for judge-
ment.
The fishermen, all of Stratford,
were Walter Anger, Roy Waldie,
George Jessop and Wm. Kistner.

KIDNEYACIDS
Rob yourRest..
Many people never seem to get a good
night's rest- They turn and toss—blame it
on `nerves'—when it may be their kidneys.
Healthy kidneys filter poisons and excess
acids from the blood. If they fail and
impurities stay in the system—disturbed
rest often follows. 1f you don't rest well
get and use Dodd's Kidney Pills. Dodd's
help the kidneys so that you can rest
better—and feel better. } 36
